If you have a phone running Android 2.2, which has undergone the rooting process, chances are that you won't miss the opportunity to try the improved on-screen keyboard, regardless of the fact that the start of the Google Nexus S sales is a few days away.
The installer is a downloadable .zip file, which needs to be placed in the root of the SD card, and launched with the phone in recovery mode, similar to the way you install custom themes.
